General Information
Courses via CD-ROM are independent study courses. They are interactive which means that they have been built with a software which allows the student to move around through the course with just a click of the mouse. The computer will do all the work except the “studying.” Everything you need for independent study of a course, except the textbook(s), will be on the CD. The textbook(s) can be ordered from us by phone or email if you have a VISA or MasterCard or from us by mail with payment.

You will have up to six months to complete the course. You may study at your own pace, beginning when you want and ending when you want. If you should want to take longer than six months, a course time extension can be purchased. Independent study courses cost $31 per semester-hour in tuition plus $62 per course for administrative costs. The textbook(s) will cost extra, but the S&H costs for them are covered in the above teacher-administrator costs.

The unit exams are on the CD, but the final exam must be proctored. Thus, we will send the test to your proctor at the appropriate time.

As an additional resource for these courses, the actual lecture notes by a professor in the live seminary class for the course are being made available on most of the CD courses. Also we are providing the verbatim notes from a student in the live classes whenever they are available. These notes will multiply the effectiveness of the courses and make the learning approach that of the live classes.

We have tried to anticipate your questions with the above descriptions, but if you have additional questions, please contact us at cd@seminaryextension.org or at 800-229-4612.
