Continuing Education Units
For all those who need CEU credit, Seminary Extension is now giving Continuing
Education Units (CEU's) to persons qualifying for them through Seminary
Extension classroom work. These CEU's are not available by independent
study. There are essentially three levels of students who now take Seminary
Extension classes, regular students who are seeking academic credit, those
who audit a class, and those who seek CEU credit. These three have the following responsibilities: Academic Credit Student
- do all the class work, homework, tests, papers
- any other requirement given by the instructor
Auditor
- allowed to sit in the class for information purposes only
- allowed to participate in the classroom discussion at the discretion
of the instructor
- no papers, test, etc., are required of this student
CEU Credit
- credit available subject to the approval of the instructor
- attendance is required just as for the credit student (75% of the
class time)
- reading assignments are required
- class discussion and dialog allowed and permitted
- tests are optional at the discretion of the instructor
- a 3-4 page paper required telling the instructor how this course
is to be used in the life of the student
Seminary Extension is responsible for the crediting, maintenance, and
transmission of all Seminary Extension CEU transcripts subject to the
polices of the organization.
