Continuing Education Units

Students may be able to receive Continuing Education Units (CEU) for course work done in a classroom setting. The student must register as a participating student in the class, and they must have an agreement with the instructor prior to beginning course work. Although the course exams are not required, students must adhere to normal attendance practices, engage in classroom participation, and turn in any required homework assignments. Finally, the student must write a paper describing how they intend to use the things they have learned in the course. At the end of the course, students will receive a grade of Pass or Fail.

A student cannot earn both academic and CEU credit for the same course. It has to be one or the other and the student must declare their intension at the beginning of the course. A CEU transcript may be obtained from Seminary Extension with the same guidelines used for regular academic transcripts. One (1) CEU will be awarded for each ten (10) hours or portions thereof (ie. 15 hours = 1.5 CEU's) of classroom work completed.
