Dear Friend, If you are interested in theological courses that are biblically based, we are ready to serve you. You may study where you live. Seminary professors prepare our courses in a student-friendly manner. From the start we suggest you pray for God to direct and empower you. Our aim is to help men and women who love the Lord become better equipped to serve Him. Ministers who already have a Master of Divinity degree or its equivalent may be certified as teachers of our extension center courses. If the study is done independently, an instructor with a doctor's degree facilitates the learning by correspondence or Internet. We believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, and we seek to base all of our courses on its truths accurately interpreted. The six Southern Baptist seminaries own us. Their presidents govern us, and their deans advise us. Most of all, we attempt to please the Lord and to serve His people. Currently we have over 4,000 students and almost 500 Centers throughout the U.S. and in some foreign countries. Lay people, church leaders, ministry trainees, Prisoners, hospital chaplaincy trainees, military personnel, and Bivocational and ethnic ministers use our courses.
