Seminary Extension has a plan for equipping today's busy Christian ministers and lay people with theological knowledge, ministry skills and competencies. Our mission is for the delivery of Biblical, Theological, and Practical education to Christians wherever they live via Internet, CD ROM, local live classrooms, and correspondence. If a hungry man is given a fish, he eats a meal; but if he is taught how to fish, he eats for the rest of life. Rather than just a meal, Seminary Extension will give you the tools and skills to feed yourself and others for life. Equipping for ministry will put you in position to play an active part in ministering both inside and outside the church in a multitude of ministries. And what's more, this training is available to you where you are and at your convenience without having to uproot and move to a specific location.

Seminary Extension is a ministry of the six theological seminaries of the Southern Baptist Convention - Golden Gate, Midwestern, New Orleans, Southeastern, Southern and Southwestern.

Earn your bachelor's degree at a distance. Seminary Extension has entered into articulation agreements with Judson College and with Apex School of Theology for the purposes of Seminary Extension students transferring some or all of their Seminary Extension credits to a school which will allow them to complete their baccalaureate degree via the Internet.
